The DELT·A team brings together international expertise in landscape planning, urban design, and ecological urbanism. With backgrounds in architecture, landscape, and research, we combine creativity and technical knowledge to design resilient, adaptive, and innovative ecologies, landscapes and territories across scales and contexts.

Silvia Ribot

Director and Landscape Urbanist
Silvia Ribot is a landscape and urban planner with a long tragectory in the design and coordination of international projects of different scales. She has worked in several landscape planning, masterplaning, landscape, and urban design projects in different countries and contexts. Currently she is the director of the landscape urbanism office DELT·A which projects specialize in practice and research in the field of landscape planning, ecological urbanism, and landscape design. She studied architecture in Madrid and Sao Paulo and gained her MA in Landscape Urbanism at the Architectural Association. She is a PhD candidate and researcher in the Polithechnical University of Madrid and a Professor of Landscape Planning and Urbanism at the URJC. Previously has taught within the LU master at the AA and as a Visiting Lecturer in several Universities.

Raúl Bielsa

Senior Urban Designer
Raul Bielsa is a landscape and urban design consultant with over nine years of experience in urban design and master planning, specializing in landscape-led strategies and GIS-based approach. Trained as an architect, he holds a Master’s in Landscape Urbanism from the Architectural Association (AA). Raul has developed his expertise in delivering innovative urban solutions through his work at Prior + Partners and Groundlab, as well as in public service roles, including as a Public Practice Associate and Urban Design Officer at St Albans City & District Council in the UK. He is dedicated to mentoring emerging professionals in landscape and urbanism, contributing to academic institutions such as the AA, IAAC, UCL, and the University of Liverpool. As co-director of the AA Visiting School Transborder Landscapes, he leads research on sustainable and forward-thinking landscape approaches in urban design.

Mario Gómez

Junior Landscape Architect
Mario Gómez is a landscape architect recently graduated from URJC in Madrid, where he specialized in territorial planning and ecological urbanism with a focus on water management and water-sensitive design. At DELT·A, he contributes to landscape planning strategies centered on climate change adaptation and resilience across regional and urban scales.

Maria José Villabona

Junior Landscape Architect
María José Villabona is a landscape architect trained at URJC of Madrid and the University of Ljubljana. With international experience in landscape design and environmental sustainability. At DELT·A, she contributes to projects that integrate nature-based solutions and climate-resilient strategies into urban and landscape design, with a strong focus on ecological performance and social value.
